How to add coupons for your Course?

Adding discount coupons to your Course is a great way to incentivize sales and attract new students. You can add discount coupons for your paid courses.

Start Creating a New Coupon

First, open your Course.link dashboard and navigate to the Coupons section. Click on +New Coupon to get started.

Discount Type

You will have the power to choose between two coupon types: Percentage Discount and Flat Discount. A percentage discount lowers the total value by a specific percentage.

A flat discount offers a fixed amount to be deducted from the total order value.

Coupon Code

Choose your preferred discount type and enter a name for the coupon code. This will be the code that customers will enter at checkout to redeem the discount.

Coupon Details

Enter a discount amount. This represents the amount of the discount that customers will receive off of the total course value.

Optionally, you can set a maximum discount amount for the coupon. This means that customers will not be able to receive a discount that is more than the specified amount.

Coupon Validity

Define the activation and expiration dates to set the timeframe that the coupon will be active. This means that customers will only be able to use the coupon during the specified timeframe.

Decide how many times a customer can use the discount code. Choose Once Per Customer for single use, or Unlimited for multiple uses.

Once you've configured everything, save the discount coupon. When you click the Create button, the discount coupon will be saved and it will be available for customers to use.

Test the Discount Coupon

To test the discount coupon out, head over to your online course and add select Enroll Course. Proceed to checkout, where you will see the option to enter a discount code. Enter the code and click on Apply. The discount amount will be deducted from your order total.
